Are you pet friendly?

Yes, Bring your furry friends. We have a XL Pendelton Dog bed, Yeti dog bowls, Eddie Bauer Dog blanket and treats. Doggies LOVE the river and hanging out on the back deck. The Pet fee is $50 per pet per stay.

How many guests does the cabin sleep?

Up to 6. There is one California King size bed and 2 queen size beds in 3 bedrooms, there is also a CordaRoy GIANT beanbag that converts into a very comfy king size mattress. When I have had extra guests or kids I will use this CordaRoy mattress set up in front of the fireplace for an extra dose of Hygge.

Can you play in the river?

PLEASE!! Dogs, kids and adults all have a great time frolicking in the river. There are trout, bass, some harmless river snakes and lots and lots of frogs. Nothing dangerous but after heavy rains use caution because the river swells and there are actual rapids!

Can you fish in the river?

Yes, The river is regularly stocked. There is a bait and tackle shop in town in Kirks plaza that can get you set up with all the bait you need. If you plan to fish the Delaware river you will need to get a license, which you can get in town at Toms Bait and Tackle.

What supplies are you stocked with?

Public goods Shampoo, Conditioner and Body soap. Full array of spices, coffee, sugar, salt, Tazo tea selection, Greek Olive oil, paper towels, Ketchup, Mayo, BBQ sauce, Mustard, Charcoal, tin foil. We have All Clad cookware and all Bosch appliances. We have a Weber Grill

Whats the Cancellation policy?

More than 30 days before arrival we offer a full refund (less $75 fee), or a credit to use within 1 year for a future stay. More than 7 days before arrival we offer a half refund. Within 7 days of arrival there is no refund.

Are there curtains?

No, but we provide you with eye masks. I have contemplated curtains for ages but i cannot bear to block the amazing views of the river. There is a large canvas curtain in the back closet that can be used in the riverside bedroom in case you have a little one that needs a nap.

Is the property accessible in the winter?

Yes. We are located off a main road that is regularly plowed. We have a plow crew that services our driveway throughout the winter.

How private is the property?

We have 1 neighbor on each side and the back yard in endless woods, The House is set about 1 acre back from the road and the view fully blocked by Pine Trees. The Front yard is wide open for running and playing and the backyard is a grove of pine trees ideal for peace and tranquility.
