We honor the Lenape tribes whose ancestral homelands we are deeply privileged to inhabit. The Wolf, Turtle and Turkey clan are not forgotten. In tribute, we bow to mesingw, the spirit of the forest
Originally built as a hunting a fishing lodge in the 1970’s, Jenny MacFarlane purchased the property in 2019 and turned it into the Scandi-Chic getaway that it is today.
Even before 1st stepping foot in the land, she had been dreaming of finding a cabin where she could build a haven to create memories, foster connection, both with others and to nature, and to indulge in her passions of design and hospitality.
A wedding photographer by trade, specializing in elopements in Iceland and NYC, Jenny’s pet projects have always leaned towards Architecture and Design. This clean, simple yet luxurious Mid-century inspired space is a fulfillment of a lifelong dream. One that Jenny is thrilled to share with others as a space to reset and rejuvenate.
She visits once a month, often with her 2 daughters, to go for hikes, sleep in, BBQ and most importantly restock the spices, smores and firewood and to make sure everything is perfect for her guests.
My favorite activities at the cabin:
Bonfires with friends
drinking my morning coffee in the hot tub
exploring the river
bubbles and frisbee in the front yard
tie-dying everything
hanging out on a hammock with a book
long walks on country roads
