Some of the best in the region.
We’re just 2 minutes from the trailhead of the Tusten Mountain Trail, one of the most beautiful hikes in the western Catskills. You can walk along the river to reach it and hike up to stunning overlooks of the Catskill and Pocono mountains. The trail offers options for all levels — from gentle walks to more challenging climbs.
We also love River Road, directly across the street — a long dirt road perfect for dog walks, leisurely strolls, or setting up a picnic.
-
Narrowsburg is still a bit of a hidden gem.
It has a strong arts community, excellent restaurants, and great local shopping — often listed among top Catskills towns, but without the crowds or commercialization of places like Hudson or Woodstock.
You’ll get a small-town feel with plenty to discover, plus easy access to the Delaware River for tubing, fishing, and outdoor adventures.
-
The cabin is surrounded by trees and sits directly on the river, making it ideal for rest, reflection, and reconnecting. We do have neighbors on either side, but there is plenty of space and privacy.
Across the river is the Blue Fox Motel, a thoughtfully designed mid-century property with a seasonal pool and a year-round restaurant. While you may occasionally notice activity, most guests describe the cabin as peaceful and private.
This is rural Upstate New York — not remote wilderness — and guests generally appreciate the balance of privacy, accessibility, and life nearby.
-
This is a real home. It’s been thoughtfully designed, carefully maintained, and stocked with intention. Guests often tell us it feels less like a rental and more like being welcomed into someone’s home — warm, generous, and genuinely lived-in.

Absolutely.
